The Flinders Ranges deep in history, are occupied by the Adnyamathantha people that have inhabited this range for tens of thousands of years. The Flinders Ranges are the largest mountain ranges in South Australia, stretching about 430kms long. This expedition starts in Goolwa, at the mouth of the mighty Murray and continues to Port Pirie then Lake Eyre, ending in Birdsville.. On this journey James and his team will cook with ingredients native to these areas, starting with the famed Goolwa pipis, saltbush, King George whiting, snapper and lamb from the ranges. This trip is quintessentially South Australian outback steeped in history and stories.
